As of 2018, I am celebrating 15 years of being a principally raw vegan. I went raw because I wanted to fine tune my energy system. I knew intuitively that we are what we eat. I also knew that I felt great when I ate live foods. I learned that when food is not cooked over 43 degrees C. or 115 F. it retains the life-giving enzymes and nutritive vitamins. I felt lucid, light and upbeat. I wanted to feel that great all the time.
