New Moon Vision Quest – March 2021
A Vision Quest is a time-out, usually in deep nature, where the outer, everyday life is temporarily left behind, where one fasts from food and words, and the subtle becomes loud and evident.
The Quest takes place in the UAE Empty Quarter’s sand dunes for 2 nights and 3 days.
This 3-day quest will draw on the study of Nature Mysticism and how to stand with one foot in the ordinary world and one foot in the non-ordinary world for the sake of healing – of others, of oneself, of one’s community and the Earth. Our Earth is honored as a living being and we as humans, are validated and enhanced in our communication and interconnectivity with it in an active and conscious way. As we all know, with the current Earth changes, this communion is more poignantly needed than ever before.
This Vision Quest will be during the New Moon in Pisces on March 13, giving us a total of 4 planets in Pisces! This opens a portal of greater mystical connection and creative inspiration. We will do a ritual harnessing this new lunar cycle and the greater spiritual and creative intentions we’re called to set at this time in our lives. With this concentrated Pisces energy, we have the opportunity to put in motion significant changes in our lives that are aligned with a greater creative purpose and a heartfelt spiritual calling. In these uncertain times, this quest offers a means to connect to that which is timeless and sure, while being held in some of the most stunning beauty this region has to share.
This intensive will be held in the remote UAE sand dunes of Rub Al Khali, or the Empty Quarter, of the UAE. This is about 4 hours away from Dubai.
This work will include a psycho-spiritual approach, influenced by the Nature Wisdom Traditions, and also bring in Kundalini Yoga. These will be incorporated into the intensive as expansion tools, and a means of grounded integration for all that will be accessed over the 2 nights, 3 days.
Note: Due to Covid, currently one needs a Covid test to enter Abu Dhabi Emirate, within 48 hours. Professional safari operators will provide transport, able to take only 2 people per 4WD, given Covid restrictions.
